Question: I work for this guy who is a nice guy but a bit of a nut. He has been studying martial arts for about a year and I think he’s a green belt. Anyone he’s gotten into this bowing thing. He bows to us and he wants us to bow back to him. That’s weird enough but now he wants us to bow to the customers. Is this what the martial arts does to some people turn them strange?
Answer: Actually, this sounds funny. You like your job. Your boss is eccentric but a nice guy. If you are making enough money to support yourself and save to invest in real estate, why not just smile and go with the flow. The customers may find this bowing odd but no harm done and some may like it as a respectful gesture.
