Now, put Mindfulness into Action.
Offer quality. Quality does not mean that you have to always offer the best. The “best” can be very hard to find and very expensive. You and your customers do not always need or want “the best.”
Quality means to offer your customers value for the dollar spent. Your customers DO want a good deal. You offer a good deal. You offer value.
The important mindfulness point is that you are “awake” and you are “aware” to the good deal you are offering. Your good deal isn’t happenstance. You have researched what “value” means in your business. You have researched your competition. You know what they are doing. Now, you make a conscious decision to do what others businesses in your field are doing only you do it better or less expensively. This is value.
Mindfully, you should know and feel very good about the “quality,” the “value” that you offer your customer.
Now, when dealing with your customers, you can smile for them, with them, to them, because you know that you are giving them a good deal. You can be honest and happy. You can be enthusiastic.
And, when you are mindful, offering a quality product or service, something wonderful will start to happen; your customers will notice and appreciate. Your customers will notice that your business is not like every other business. Your business is special. You care about your customers and your customers start to care about you.
And, this mutually beneficial relationship leads to customer loyalty and to your customers singing your praises to others.
Maybe, it is working a little harder. Maybe, it is making a little less profit on each sale. But, in the long run, it is win/win and it feels good because it is good.
