In all matters of business, the Masters of Success are serious people; confident and competent professionals. They deliver a quality product or service. Guided by the Golden Rule, they are honest and ethical in their dealings including marketing. When the going gets tough, they act responsibly. If they say they can do something, they do it. If they know that they can’t deliver, they do not make idle promises. If complications develop, they report and correct. Their word is their bond and they follow-up. They listen to better understand their customer needs and employees concerns. They don’t brag or gossip and aren’t pushy. They are grateful for the support of their customers and employees.

As owners and managers, hire slowly and fire quickly. They will look for appropriate opportunities to recognize and show appreciation for productivity and good effort. They are willing to share the credit but take the blame. They will enforce high workplace standards. Strive to hire as many fellow Masters of Success as possible.
