Copy success. Find those who have done or who are doing what you want to do and do what they are doing.
For 99.999% of businesses, there is nothing new under the sun. You aren’t R&D. You want to design and sell jewelry or be a law partner or customize motorcycles or something … For you, this is good.
There are people who dreamed your dream before you.
You can find the leaders in your industry. You can study them. You can copy what they are doing.
Is this work? YES. Is this work that most average people and average business owners are not doing? YES. Is it this type of work that moves you and your business from the “average” category to the “extraordinary” category? YES.
Some independent coffee shop owners are passionate and successful, what are they doing?
Some artists can sell their works for tens of thousands of dollars, what are they doing?
Some Realtors make $400,000 a year, what are they doing?
Some Uber drivers make $80,000 a year, what are they doing?
Some teachers become principals, what are they doing?
Some people fry potatoes at Mickey D’s and some people own the franchise, what are the owners doing that the fry cooks aren’t?
Life is about choices. You choose. Why not you?
You are mindful. You are thoughtful. You are alert and aware and awake. Put your mindfulness into action and become wildly successful.
You probably don’t need to go to graduate school to accomplish your next objective. You need to wake up. You need to mindfully assess if what you are doing at this moment is bring you closer to your idealized self and goal or NOT.
What are the best doing? Who are your heroes doing? Are you meditating on how you can be like them?
If not, then, do that.
There are few secrets. Study. Listen. Watch. Plan. Work hard. Risk. Learn. Persist.
